Carrington Epperson c/o 2014: Where is she now?

From the halls of Carlisle to a successful entrepreneur! Class of 2014 graduate Carrington is a holistic hospitality consultant with 12+ years of experience successfully bringing ideas to fruition. You can connect with her by savoring a dessert from her vegan bakery, Chanterelle Cafe, and reading her essays on The Carrington Collection. She also thoughtfully curates vacations as a trusted Travel Advisor under Skye's The Limit Vacations.

After graduating from Carlisle, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and African-American & African Studies from the University of Virginia in 2018. She is now the proud owner of Chanterelle Cafe, a cottage bakery offering a variety of classic & custom, vegan & allergy-friendly baked goods to the Central Virginia community. She shared that "all treats are made at home and with love."

Recently, she was featured on C-VILLE Weekly and was recognized as a Best of Cville 2026 winner for Inclusive Baking. This is just one of the many awards and recognitions she has received within the past few years. Others include:
